Museums - Free Times & Days (Even During COVID)

Nearby in Nassau County & the Five Boroughs, nyc

By Tatiana S ~ Publisher and Editor of Macaroni Kid, Five Towns-Valley Stream-Far Rockaway January 12, 2021

Museums have been opening. Here you will find a list of who and when, thank you theskint.comHere is another list from ABC 7. You can also get some free tickets from some local libraries HERE.

• If I mention the pandemic in the listing, then the listing has been updated. But always contact them for detail or check their websites.

• Childhood is a great time to introduce kids to culture. We are lucky enough to live close to one of the most cultured cities on the planet. There are numerous museums to choose from. Many of these museums have special days and times for free or inexpensive entrance. Many of them let kids under age 12 in for free.

• Here are some museums in the Five Boroughs and in Nassau County that have special times and days for FREE entrance. I will be researching more and adding them so check back periodically! Let me know if I missed any!

• Free passes are also available to museums from local libraries where you reside.

• During the Pandemic, always check the website and/or call. Most probably you will need to make a reservation to visit the museum.
