The ASPCA offers low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter surgery for cats and dogs exclusively in the five boroughs of New York City. Our mobile clinics provide subsidized services to tens of thousands of underserved pet parents each year, with the goal of decreasing the number of dogs and cats entering the city’s shelters, and contributing to the overall health and welfare of animals in communities that lack access to vet care. The ASPCA Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinics are staffed with professionally trained, fully licensed veterinarians and technicians. Our teams follow the practices established by the Association of Shelter Veterinarians.

ASPCA Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinics serve approximately 20-25 dogs and cats per day. Space is limited and we accommodate as many animals as possible. However, we cannot guarantee service on any mobile clinic.

View our calendar for upcoming dates in your area.

What safety precautions are being taken for COVID-19?

To facilitate physical distancing during intake, all potential clients are now required to sign into a virtual waitlist prior to arriving at the clinic location. Our staff will use the virtual waitlist to determine who will be admitted for surgery, and in what order, until full. Please do not arrive at the clinic location if your name is not on the waitlist. Click here to add your name and pet information starting at 5:30 AM that morning at the clinic you wish to attend.

After you sign up, you will receive an automated text confirming that you are on the waitlist; please do not reply to that message. As we work through the intake process, you will receive a second message letting you know that we can see you or that we are full for the day.

  • ASPCA staff will admit pets in the order of the waitlist and will send a text to the number you provided in the app a few minutes before they are ready to admit your pet.
  • Please stay close by but do not congregate around the clinic and stay at least 6-feet apart from others.
  • Our staff will be wearing masks, we require that the public wear masks when interacting with our staff.
  • We cannot bring clients onto the mobile clinics at this time, staff will answer all questions and explain processes to you outside.
