VISITOR INFORMATION
Old Westbury Gardens is pleased to reopen its gardens to our Members by reservation only, starting Wednesday, June 17. Reservations by Members will begin online on June 10. We will tentatively reopen for general admissions on Wednesday, July 1.
If you are not an Old Westbury Gardens Member, we encourage you to join.
To promote the health and safety of our visitors, staff, and volunteers we have implemented new ticketing procedures and visitor policies:
- Visitor Hours are: 11am-6pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday;
10am-5pm Saturday and Sunday. - Member reservations and tickets must be purchased in advance. Only Members may make reservations at this time. Advanced tickets for general admission will be available for purchase later this month.
- Members may reserve the number of tickets according to their membership level: Individual-1; Dual, Family-2, Sustainer, Friend and above-6.
- We will now have contactless scanning check-in for all visitors. Please have available your tickets, either printed or on your mobile device. As a backup please note your ticket numbers as well.
- Due to safety concerns Westbury House is closed.
- We ask that all visitors follow New State COVID-19 protocols: maintain 6 feet of distance between household groups; and wear face coverings when social distancing (staying at least 6 feet apart) is not possible, unless a face covering is not medically tolerated; follow the suggested route indicated by white arrows and signage
- You can view a map of the gardens, including a recommended route here. Printed maps will not be available on site.
- There are limited amenities on the property: Restrooms are only available by the parking field; Café in the Woods is open; all benches and picnic tables have been removed; drinking fountains are not available, and the Gift Shop is closed.
- To maintain the appropriate number of visitors on the property arrive within the hour on your ticket. You may stay until closing.
- There is no smoking on the property and the dogs are allowed are service dogs.
- By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be photographed and/or filmed and give permission to use your likeness in promotional and/or marketing materials.
We encourage visitors and employees to stay home if they are sick. If you purchased tickets in advance but become ill, we will honor your tickets when you have recovered.
