Paw-It-Forward Pet Pantry in Valley Stream helps local families who are struggling to buy supplies to feed and take care of their dogs and cats. People can get on a list and ask for supplies twice a year. They have monthly handouts.
Their current focus is to get a new shed to house cat supplies. They have put a deposit on the shed but need $1800 more to get it up and filled. The old shed had moisture inside it and had gotten ruined,
A year ago they had gotten a larger one for half the funds to store dog supplies, but prices have increased since then!
If you an animal lover, a pet owner or just able to give, any donation will help!
They are always looking for donations, although they currently have enough dog food, they do need cat food. And you can donate Amazon gift cards so they can purchase supplies as needed.
