At RISE (Rockaway Initiative for Sustainability and Equity), they are engaging elementary and middle school students safely in our FREE Virtual Living Classroom series this spring!
In April, This FREE virtual workshop is for Elementary schoolchildren as well as Middle Schoolers and their families, focused on the issue of marine debris, specifically plastics. Participants can make a recycled art project, an advocacy campaign, or come up with their own medium to raise awareness of minimizing single-plastic use.
Register here for FREE each month for these Friday Zoom classes, from 3-4 for elementary students and 4-5 for middle schoolers through June 2021.
