We love supporting our local farmers. Plus, it's fun for the whole family to visit a farmers market in Long Beach or the Rockaways and more places!
Here are three things to note before heading out to farmers markets in The Five Towns, Valley Stream, Long Beach, Oceanside, Baldwin, Freeport and Malverne and the Rockaways areas:
- Bring your own containers or bags to avoid any extra charges!
- Bring cash as some local farmer market stands don't take credit cards.
- Some farmer markets in Five Towns - Valley Stream - The Rockaways and Long Beach - Oceanside - Rockville Centre areas might have rules or requests in place due to COVID. Please check their websites or social media sites before heading out!
